Job Analysis Depending Agency Type for Korean Pediatric Occupational Therapist Focused on Sensory Integration

Abstract
Objective : The aims of the this study is to investigate duty task of the job for Korean pediatric occupational therapist focused on sensory integration intervention according to hospital, center, welfare center and additionally to identify job differences depending to agency type.

Methods : A survey was performed for 122 pediatric occupational therapist focused on sensory integration intervention using a questionnaire from July to September 2017. The questionnaire was consisted of job description for Korean pediatric occupational therapist focused on sensory integration intervention.

Results : There was difference in importance, frequency, and difficulty according to hospital, center, welfare centerl. Differences were showed total 10 tasks in importance, total 7 tasks in frequency, and total 2 task in difficulty depending to agencies type.

Conclusion : Occupational therapists need to identify job differences depending to agency type and develop essential competencies needed to perform the job emphasized at each agency.
